Fayerweather Yacht Club (FYC) has a vibrant racing and cruising background. In its 100+ year history it has been a part of the Long Island Sound sailing community, participating in local area regatta's as well as sponsoring charity regattas such as the Sail Park City Regatta. FYC is an open and friendly sailing and powerboat community. Its large dock, with fuel, electricity, and a pump out station, as well as the guest dock and launch, make Fayerweather an ideal location to embark on your next adventure on the water.

There are many opportunities, all season long for boating enthusiasts. FYC sponsors, many regattas and, along with Black Rock Yacht Club, we also sponsor Wednesday Night Races throughout the summer. We also participate in much larger regattas on Long Island Sound. FYC members sail in the Brent C. Donahue Cross Sound Regatta, Block Island Race Week, PYC Faulkner Island Race and the Martha's Vineyard Regatta, and many FYC boats and their crews receive awards for these events during the post-race ceremonies.

The club is now offering a "Learn to Sail" program with the club-owned J22. After a passing a sailing qualification test, you will be able to rent the club's sailboat for a minimal fee.
